OUR SIXTH DAY!

Today we caught the train from the Meads Railway Station and we went to Salisbury, where, by bus we arrived at Stonehenge.
On the bus a tour guide explained us interesting things about this mysterious and magnificent monument and the countryside.



Then we returned on the bus to go to city centre of Salisbury, which is a beautiful and authentic city.
After walking through the downtown we visited one of the oldest cathedral of Europe.
The charming Cathedral of Salisbury has the tallest church spire in the UK and it contains the oldest working example of clock in the world.
In addition we could see one of the original copies of Magna Carta.
